I want to personally thank you for choosing Second Mt. Vernon as your place of Worship today. I know there are numerous churches and ministries you could have worshipped with, however God led you here and we praise God for you! My prayer is that something might be said or done in the worship experience that will edify, enrich, and impact your life in such a way that your life will never be the same again!

To The Body
Words cannot express the excitement I feel in anticipation of the things to come here at Second Mount Vernon. God is continually preparing us for the road ahead. He is manifesting himself in the spiritual growth of our leaders and our ministries. Now that we have made bold declarations, He is bringing His promises for us to pass.
God is not only constructing a new building at Second Mount Vernon,
but He is also building a people, a people who are not ashamed, and a people who are ready to dominate, not just in 2008, but also in the years to come!
As we reflect over the first quarter of 2008, I pray that we will continue to
search ourselves to determine how we may continue to live in God’s will,
invest in ourselves so that we may live out God’s potential, and most
Importantly, love ourselves so that we may be able to love others as
Christ so loved the church.
Remember, “I see you in your future, and you’re looking much better than
you look right!” We are built for the road ahead!
